Marina Llao

I immerse myself in projects and research that require scientific and social commitment. I have a PhD in Political Science (UNC, 2023) and a BA in Psychology (UNC, 2006) with a postgraduate course in Psychoanalysis (UNC, 2009). I have worked as a psychologist for 10 years, 5 of which were in an institution for young people at social risk. I was trained in coordination and group management. I finished my PhD with a completion scholarship (CONICET, 2021-2024). I was Director of Scientific Promotion at the Ministry of Science and Technology of Córdoba during Robledo administration (2016–2019). I have also collaborated in writing two publications related to the national and provincial scientific system. I have my own papers in political theory and psychoanalysis. I currently work as an associate consultant and an ad hoc researcher in the areas of sociology, politics, markets and psychology.
As a researcher, I have participated in more than a hundred projects with fieldwork. In the early years, I collaborated with various consulting agencies conducting market and public opinion understanding studies for large companies and political groups. In recent times, I have led several projects as a principal researcher, covering agendas related to public policies, human rights, societies, cultures, gender and technologies. These works were aimed at different sectors. On the one hand, those linked to rights and social and cultural inclusion, covering topics like poverty labels, technological and cultural changes, gender, and intersectionality. And on the other hand, I worked as a researcher in the sectors of productive development and innovation in the agricultural and industrial fields.
I would like to highlight my participation in regional projects carried out for different United Nations commissions, multilateral agencies, national and subnational government areas, embassies and civil society organizations active in territorial work. This research has focused mainly on the multidimensional understanding of complex problems, which requires the integration of different research methodologies and the appropriate use of computational tools.
